What is a Young Carer ID Card   
…and how do I apply? 

The Young Carer ID Card offers a form of identification; it acknowledges your caring role and provides access to various discounts and offers. The card, issued by Forward Carers includes your photograph and ICE (In case of emergency) contact details. This card is only suitable for Young Carers aged 10 – 18 years old.

If you are under 13, you will need to have parental consent. More than one member of your family can have a Carers ID card if they are involved in the care of the same person. We advise all members providing care, have a card.
